Statement of Belief
We believe in the Triune God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that an individual is saved through faith alone (Sola Fide), by God’s grace alone (Sola Gratia) and revealed to us in God’s inerrant word alone (Sola Scriptura). We believe that God comes to us through the Means of Grace – His Word and the Sacraments. We confess our belief in the Christian creeds – Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed and Athanasian Creed.
FLC is a member congregation of Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC)
Mission – To Reach, Teach, and Trust being guided by the principles of The Great Commission.
Place of Belonging
Jesus taught his disciples to go into the world preaching the good news of forgiveness for all people, teaching them what he taught and baptizing in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Faith Lutheran Church is engaged in this in a serious way. We welcome anyone who is on a life journey of discovering who they are in relation to the God of the Bible. God has left us a message in the Bible and you are invited to discover a life-transforming experience through it and others who will support you.
Place of Serving
On his last night on Earth Jesus met his disciples and told them they should share bread and wine together in a meal of forgiveness that would also be a way to continually share his living presence with each other until he comes again. That night he also told them that if they wanted to follow him into eternal life that they must do what he did to them that night. He got down on his knees like a slave and washed their feet.
Place of Gathering
For those new to Faith Lutheran, or interested in joining our community, our passion is to provide a place where people can have a life-changing experience with God. At Faith, we’re striving to become the kind of church described in the Bible, where there’s relevant teaching, heart-felt worship, honest friendships, constant prayer, and compassionate care for those in need. We’d like to have the kind of contagious love of God that can influence and encourage the entire community, one life at a time.
